Indications

The mineralised bone option provides a natural structural scaffold to support space maintenance and bone regeneration. The demineralised bone option is processed to expose native bone matrix proteins, including bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs), which are associated with increased osteoinductive potential and support biological signalling involved in new bone formation.

Available in a range of particle sizes (150–2000 µm) to allow flexibility across surgical techniques and anatomical sites.

Handling Tips

Supplied as particulate bone in controlled particle size ranges

  1. Can be hydrated with saline or blood prior to placement

  2. Packs easily into bone defects while maintaining handling control

  3. Avoid excessive compression to preserve inter-particle spaces.

Properties & Clinical Advantages

Available in mineralised and demineralised formats

  1. Mineralised bone provides structural support and space maintenance

  2. Demineralised bone offers enhanced biological activity through exposure of native BMPs

  3. Supports osteoconductive and osteoinductive processes

  4. Wide particle size range enables procedural versatility.
